Site work for a water / sewer project in Naturita, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The DRUM Rimrock Starlight Project consists of safeguarding twenty nine (29) mine features including seven (7) prospect adits, four (4) subsidences, and eighteen (18) adits. The project will occur on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Montrose County. Closure methods will include grates, corrugated steel pipes, backfill, polyurethane foam, bulkhead, and cable nets. Some features will include bat compatible grates or otherwise require bat exclusions prior to backfill or bulkhead. The uranium mine closure Safety, Health and Environmental Action Plan requirements will be applied. PROJECT LOCATION The Rimrock Starlight Project is located 20 miles from the town of Naturita, CO in west Montrose County. Please see the attached maps.
