The work, in general, consists of, but not limited to reinforced concrete box (2 cells) culvert construction; reinforced concrete channel, transition structure, wingwalls, and headwall construction; structure excavation and backfill; rock slope protection and concreted rock slope protection construction; asphalt concrete pavement removal and replacement, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and driveway removal and replacement; chain link fencing; water line reconstruction; and doing other work appurtenant thereto This project requires a Class A or C12 contractor's license. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date. The Contract shall be signed by the successful bidder and returned within 10 working days Bidders must submit all questions in writing, by mail, fax, or e-mail. The deadline for bidder questions is 1:00 P.M. on THURSDAY, JULY 27, 2023 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each in a penal sum equal to one hundred percent of the contract price. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California.
