Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in West Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 12,960-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The City’s Facilities Master Plan recommended replacement of Fire Hall #32, and subsequently space needs assessments, concept design and site selection has been completed to date. A location for the new Firehall has been selected at the Lakeview Heights Community Centre located at 860 Anders Road, West Kelowna, BC. The project will include but not be limited to the following: Demolishing the existing Lakeview Heights Community Centre, sport court, playground, and pickleball facilities, Construction of a new joint fire hall and community centre building, New pickleball courts, New playground area, Public parking area, Fire hall parking area, Public green space, General landscaping.
