Mecklenburg County, Virginia (County) hereby solicits qualified proposals from offerors experienced in the design of public safety facilities to provide a thorough examination of the Countys current public safety facilities and to evaluate the potential need for a new facility. If submitted via mail, six copies of proposal submittals, including one original and five copies, marked Mecklenburg County Public Safety Facilities Needs Assessment, will be received . Proposals should be submitted to the following address: Mecklenburg County Administrators Office P.O. Box 307 Boydton, VA 23917 Proposals, inclusive of any addenda or changes to a response, shall not be accepted via fax, orally, or by telephone. The County reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 30 days written notice to the offeror, at any time when, in the judgment of the County, the service rendered by the offeror is not satisfactory. Such termination shall not be deemed a waiver of any rights of the County to damages or other remedies at law or equity for breach of contract. In the event the contract shall be terminated for any reason, the County shall be obligated to pay offeror only for those services which have actually been rendered by offeror and accepted by the County through the date of termination. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
