Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Throop, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Project location 1 is the Authoritys Clinton Wastewater Treatment Plant accessed from the entrance road located at 19 Commerce Boulevard, Forest City PA 18421. Project location 2 is the Authoritys Throop Wastewater Treatment Plant at 145 Boulevard Avenue, Throop PA 18512. Work shall consist of 1. Replacement of the existing Clinton WWTP control building ballasted membrane roof (approx. 1,600 S.F., to be replaced with non-ballasted roof) including insulation, flashings and related accessories. A 20% contingency line item has been included in the bid to replace roof decking as needed 2. Replacement of the existing Throop WWTP Garage nonballasted membrane roof (approx. 1,600 S.F.) including insulation, flashings and related accessories. A 20% contingency line item has been included in the bid to replace roof decking as needed Work shall include partial demolition and replacement of the existing control building membrane roof including, decking, insulation and associated flashing. Roofing shall be removed down to the existing steel decking. Decking shall be removed and replaced as indicated on the Plans or as directed by the Owner. Install new adhered membrane roof including EPDM membrane, insulation, and flashings. The contractor shall provide and install all required materials and incidental items, whether specifically indicated or not, as needed to provide a complete and watertight installation meeting the requirements of the manufacturer. The contractor shall remove the existing roofing system, including membrane, insulation, flashings, ballast and all other components as needed down to bare decking. Remove steel decking where indicated on the plans or where directed. The contractor shall remove and legally dispose of all demolition waste. The contractor shall provide temporary cover as needed to prevent water leakage into the building interior during and after demolition until the new roofing system is installed and made watertight. The contractor shall be responsible for any damages to the Owner's facilities due to water leakage or otherwise resulting from the contractor's activities. Question Deadline 08/07/2023 at 4:00 PM ET.
