Site work for a water / sewer project in Owen Sound, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The following is a general, but not necessarily complete, description of the work to be completed under the Contract: - Removals and Demolition - Site Works for the new air handling unit - Piping and valve modifications in the Filter Gallery - Supply and installation of four (4) preselected filtration systems (RFP-22-042) including underdrains and media (sand and anthracite). The filters will be upgraded one (1) at a time including commissioning, at no point are two (2) filters allowed to be out of service at the same time. - Supply and installation of two (2) new preselected (RFP-22-042) positive displacement blowers. - Supply and installation of air piping for the blowers and underdrain systems. - Supply and installation of a new air handling unit and associated ductwork, instrumentation, and appurtenances. - Replacement of four (4) Trojan UV Units with owner supplied equipment including control panels and new UVT panels. - Replacement of backwash pump motors and VFDs. - Associated structural, electrical, mechanical and control & instrumentation works including the interconnections to central SCADA. - Restoration. - Scheduling, training, commissioning, and warranty. - Jointly plan and coordinate work with the pre-selected Equipment Supplier for installation and interconnected work.
