Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Owen Sound, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre is a multi-use facility which is home to the OHL's Owen Sound Attack with a capacity of 3300 spectators. The current refrigeration plant consists of 4 Mycom Compressors, one (1) N6WA and three (3) N4WA, with a combined horsepower of 140hp. The current ammonia charge is approximately 800lbs and is currently operated by a Seasonal Plus Controller. The purpose of this project is to significantly reduce utility consumption, improve ice quality, and ensure a safer plant by reducing the ammonia charge.
