**As of October 06, 2023, the project was awarded through a RFP process, and set to start in Spring 2024.** Butte-Silver Bow (BSB) City-County Urban Revitalization Agency (URA) is requesting proposals for the installation of pavement markings on crosswalks in Butte, Montana. We are seeking a qualified contractor to supply and install pavement markings for a total of 9 crosswalks. We understand that there are many different products on the market. The County is seeking thermoplastic or methyl methacrylate pavement markings. The crosswalk design will include street names, a pattern, and incorporation of a logo. Estimated quantity is 5,250 square feet over 9 crosswalks. One crosswalk is concrete, the other 8 are asphalt. The project aims to improve visibility, durability, and longevity of the pavement markings, ensuring enhanced safety for pedestrians and efficient traffic management. The scope of work includes: Removal of existing marking, if applicable Surface preparation and cleaning Installation of pavement markings in accordance with industry standards and local regulation Quality assurance and quality control measures Traffic control is to be provided by the Contractor understanding proper placement of cones and or closing lanes to avoid confusion by the public, moreover, avoid unnecessary damage to paint.
