The Reading School District will receive responses to a Request For Bid from those firms interested in providing municipal waste disposal capacity for the Reading School District beginning in August of 2023 Site Location The Respondent shall identify the location of the disposal facility or facilities to be utilized. Road mileage (one way) and route of travel from the Reading School District Administration Building 800 Washington St. Reading Pa. 19601 to the disposal facility must be indicated. All Respondent facilities must be identified on a location map. Facilities must provide permit number. The current permitted average and maximum daily, yearly, and life-of-permit tonnage limits shall be listed for the organization's disposal facility utilized in response to this RFP The Reading School District reserves the right to reject any or all responses and waive any informalities or irregularities in any responses or the solicitation process. Within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Intent to Award, the Contractor shall furnish to the School District a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price for the first year of the Contract (September 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024).
