Renovation of a detention facility in Headingley, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Consumer Protection and Government Services, Asset Management, seeks to select a qualified Contractor to provide construction services (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for the roofing replacement on a dormitory building located at the Headingley Correctional Centre, 6030 Portage Avenue, Headingley, Manitoba. The work involves the replacement of the existin asphalt shingle roofing with pre-finished metal roofing on the WR-2 building located on the grounds of the Headingley Correctional Centre. The Building is a 7,785 Sq. Ft. single story dormitory located on the south side of the main building. The building is in daily use and the contractor shall be required to co-ordinate the work while allowing for ongoing facility routine.
