Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a eight-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility.

The Project consists of providing removing existing roofing including all insulation and flashings/counter flashings and providing new roofing inlcuding insulation, flashings, and counter flashings for the Westmoreland County Housing Authority at Lower Burrell Manor. Westmoreland County Housing Authority is requesting flat roofing construction bids for Roof Replacement at Lower Burrell Manor All bid must be accompanied by a negotiable bid guarantee, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Provide separate Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. All work shall be fully completed not later than One Hundred Forty (140) consecutive calendar days from the written Notice to Proceed. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder who has produced the lowest bid price subject to Westmoreland County Housing Authoritys right to reject any and all bids; Westmoreland County Housing Authority reserves the sole right on multi site projects, to award a contract or contracts to one or more bidder(s) either cumulatively or per each site as may be in the Westmoreland County Housing Authority's best interest, to waive defects or any informality in bids; and to accept or reject any part of any bid if, in their judgment, the best interests of the Authority are thereby served.
