The general characteristics and principal details of the work are as shown on the attached plans. Restroom to be built at Sand Pond, 180 Great Western Road. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of the Work as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. Sealed Bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a rest room including the footing, concrete frost wall, concrete slab, plumbing and electrical work at Sand Pond, 180 Great Western Road Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, treasurers or cashiers check, payable to the Town of Harwich, is required in a dollar amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. All bids for this project are subject to applicable bidding laws of Massachusetts, including General Laws Chapter 149 and Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Wage rates are subject to the prevailing wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 270 inclusive.
