Project scope includes, but is not limited to, the installation of 767 linear feet of 8" SDR-26 sanitary sewer (open cut), connection to an existing sanitary sewer, installation of 125 linear feet of 16" steel casing (bored) with 125 linear feet of 8" SDR-26 sanitary sewer under Highway 471, 5 sanitary sewer manholes, and all other associated work required to complete all as shown and specified in the plans and contract documents. Bid Security in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Must Accompany Each Bid in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. Attorneys-in-fact Who Sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds Must File With Each Bond a Certified and Effective Dated Copy of Their Power of Attorney. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs The CITY OF BRANDON reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, or to reject any or all bids. The Contract Time is Sixty (60) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter. Interpretations or clarifications will be issued by Addenda mailed or emailed to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents.
