Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Phase 1: Furnishing and Installing a new 8-inch-diameter force main bypass connection assembly in the existing 8-inch-diameter force main near the pump station site; furnishing and installing four new in-line cleanout assemblies along the existing force main route (as an additive alternate); subcontracting Ice-Pigging of the existing force main. Phase 2: Removing the two existing submersible sewage pumps, ductile iron pipes and fittings, and associated appurtenances from the existing 6-foot-diameter wetwell and rehabilitating the wetwell; installing a new duplex sewage pump station with an 18-foot (wide) x 20-foot (long) x 15-foot (deep) cast-in-place concrete wetwell and a 19-foot (wide) by 20.5-foot (long) cast-in-place concrete top slab (including access hatches and fall protection safety grating) adjacent to the existing pump station; furnishing and installing two (2) new submersible sewage pumps, ductile iron piping and fittings, and appurtenances in the new wetwell; furnishing and installing new ductile iron piping and fittings, valves, and appurtenances above ground on the new cast-in-place concrete slab; furnishing and installing a new 8-foot (wide) by 16-foot (wide) masonry block building on the new top slab and over the above-ground pump station piping, fittings, and valves; furnishing and installing new 8-inch-diameter force main piping and fittings, valves, and appurtenances (128+/- L.F.) and new 12-inch-diameter force main piping and fittings, valves, and appurtenances (28+/- L.F.); furnishing and installing a new flowmeter vault along the new force main route; furnishing and installing new force main connection assemblies in the existing force mains that enter the existing wetwell from the east and south; furnishing and installing a new control panel, new termination panel, automatic transfer switch panel, and appurtenances; disconnecting and removing existing natural gas operated backup generator and appurtenances; furnishing and installing new natural gas operated backup generator, new cast-in-place concrete mounting pad, and appurtenances; demolishing existing 12-foot-high wooden fence and gates and furnishing and installing new 12-foot-high wooden fence and gates (180+/- L.F.); removal of existing 15-inch-diameter C.M.P. storm drain (20+/- L.F.) underneath existing driveway; furnishing and installing new 15-inch-diameter RCP storm drain (41+/- L.F.) under new driveway; demolishing existing headwall and endwall; furnishing and installing new precast concrete headwall and endwall; furnishing and installing a new stacked stone retaining wall (50+/- L.F.) along west side of new driveway; pouring a new reinforced cast-in-place concrete driveway; temporary bypass pumping; and miscellaneous electrical work.
