The project will consist of the following major items: The generator, delivery and set up of the generator, installation of the wiring to our existing automatic transfer switch, load bank testing of the unit for four hours during daytime hours, usage and maintenance training for the sewer department employees, unit specific operation and maintenance manuals. The City of Lookout Mountain is accepting sealed bids for the purchase and installation of a new or used portable emergency backup generator for the Lookout Mountain Sewer Pump Station. The generator must be able to power two 100 HP 480-volt pumps plus the associated controls and ancillary equipment.
