As of September 2023, the project is in the early design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start April 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - MILWAUKEE CAMPUS CHAPMAN HALL: Project work includes repairing facade cracks, spalling stone, and brick masonry; eliminating efflorescence; repairing or replacing deteriorated mortar joints; cleaning discolored brick and stone masonry; restoring or replacing historic exterior windows, doors, and vents. All project work on this building must reflect its historic character and nature. CUNNINGHAM HALL: Project work includes replacing all facade sealant joints, including flashing/masonry interface joints, window perimeter and component joints; repairing the bed joint, facade veneer cracks, and spalling; replacing the horizontal relieving control joints above the west facade, flashing caps, and counter flashing at the brick offsets; reconstructing the parapet walls. Protection of entrances and pedestrian walkways and vehicular and pedestrian traffic routes throughout construction will be coordinated with the university.
