Site work, paving and renovation of a library in Norwood, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a library; and for the renovation of a library.
Replacement of (2) Doors, Ada Compliant Sidewalk, Book Drop, and Mailbox The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay electronically a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through electronically and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Borough of Norwood must accompany the bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding as is in the best interest of the Borough. The Borough of Norwood reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough The Agreement will include a stipulation that the Work be completed in a period of: 90 calendar days following receipt of the Owner's Notice to Proceed.
