Renovation of an educational facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of September 6, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the schematic design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start in April 2025 and end in June 2027. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - PARKSIDE CAMPUS Project Description and Scope New inter- and intra-building single-mode fiber optic cabling will be installed campus-wide. Existing telecom/data cable infrastructure (typically Category 5) will be replaced with new, Category 6 copper cabling at Greenquist, Ranger, Molinaro, SAC, Tallent, University Apartments, and Wyllie L2 L3. Equipment Outlet locations will include those existing and new to support wired telecom/data, WIFI, security, access control, BAS, VOIP, user interface (schedule boards), classroom technology and other network supported systems. New cable management and support systems (raceway, cable tray, etc.) will be installed as needed.
