As of september 21, 2023,the project is canceled. Project is no longer needed. Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to remove the existing septic system and replace with a new septic system and other miscellaneous work. Location of Services: Tehama Wildlife Area, 29727 State Hwy 36 East, Red Bluff, CA 96080, Tehama County. License Required: A, B, or C-42 Estimated Cost: $ 40,000.00 Notice of Intent to Award: September 13, 2023 Proposed Award Date [See C) 9) f), Page 7]: October 2023 Proposed Start of Construction Date: December 2023 Contract Term Date: Upon CDFW approval until August 30, 2024. Construction shall be completed within One Hundred and Twenty (120) WORKING DAYS following the official Notice of Start Date from CDFW to the Contractor to commence construction. Additional working days will be allowed for delays caused by unexpected changes including but not limited to supply chain disruption and inclement weather. Contractor must advise Engineer IN WRITING of unexpected changes and obtain CDFW approval before any delays occur. For contractors who need assistance due to a physical impairment, a reasonable accommodation will be provided by the awarding agency upon request for the pre-bid conference/walkthrough. The contractor must call Engineering at 916-375-8378 no later than the fifth (5th) working day prior to the scheduled date and time of the pre-bid conference to arrange for a reasonable accommodation. Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a copy of your certification must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for projects greater than $25,000.00. Failure to register with DIR or list sub-contractors not registered will render your bid non-responsive.
