Renovation of a municipal facility in Paynes Creek, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to replace the HVAC unit in State Owned House (SOH) R1-58 and other miscellaneous work. Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a copy of your certification must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for projects greater than $25,000.00. Failure to register with DIR or list sub-contractors not registered will render your bid non-responsive. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omission from, the drawings or special provisions, or should he/she be in doubt as to their meaning, he/she shall at once notify the Engineer not later than seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening date, and should it be found necessary, a written Addendum will be sent to all bidders.
