ISHI Conservation Camp Replace Kitchen, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL Fire) Conservation Camp, CAL Fire, Paynes Creek, Tehama County, California Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Major components of Project Work scope includes but may not be limited to the following: Kitchen Site: Demolition of existing paving, sidewalks, curbs, utility laterals, etc. Grading, earthwork & trenching for utilities, temporary fence construction & removal. Concrete, A.C. paving & base. Water, sewer, gas, power & communication service to building. Emergency electrical generator for new building. Construct about 4,800 square foot new kitchen & dining pre-engineered metal building with CMU wainscot walls & concrete floor slab & foundations including equipment, finishes, furniture, etc. Trash enclosure & pump house. Fire alarm, fire sprinkler & public address systems. Fire Tank Site: Construct 180,000 gallon on grade welded steel fire tank with level controls & appurtenances including clear & grub site, grading & earthwork. Provide water piping, electrical & communication service between the kitchen site & tank site. Provide gravel access road & chain link fence, gates & related work. License required to bid the project: B Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. The States requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. Bidders are required to sign in upon arrival and sign out at the conclusion of the pre-bid site inspection. Attendance for the entire inspection is required for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid. States estimated cost: $9,099,500. The term of this project is 426 calendar days.
