The project includes the construction of new medium voltage switchgear to replace existing obsolete switchgear and connection of the new switchgear to existing plant electrical infrastructure. The Owner and Engineer will review and notify if approved or disapproved no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023. The landscaping plan includes tree removal, planting of new vegetation and trees, and irrigation. Project also includes a 90-day maintenance period. The work is located within Woodcreek Park, which is also utilized as a playground/field for the adjacent school. Special provisions shall be required to ensure student safety and security. The contractor will be required to install a barrier/temporary fencing between the work area and the students as part of the project scope. Costs will be incorporated into the Mobilization/Demobilization Task. The proposal shall be submitted, and the work shall be performed by a Class C-27 State of California licensed contractor in strict conformance with Specification No. PW 23-02, on file in the District's Engineering Department.
