The project entails street maintenance improvements throughout the City of Riverside on minor streets in four residential locations; on one minor street in an industrial location; on one major collector street, Jefferson Street (Arlington Avenue to Magnolia Avenue); on three arterial streets, including Magnolia Avenue (Hole Avenue to Jackson Street), Madison Street (Indiana Avenue to Dufferin Avenue) and Victoria Avenue (Washington Avenue to Horace Street); construction of new pavement on five dirt alleys, reconstruction of three alleys, and resurfacing of one alley. This project generally includes, but is not limited to, the resurfacing of deteriorated pavement with DGAC or FRAC and ARAM treatment; reconstructing damaged concrete sidewalks, driveways, pedestrian ramps, new bus pads, cross gutters, curbs, and gutters; adjustment of valve covers and manholes; and replacement of traffic striping, signs and detector loops.
