As of Sept 21, 2023 the project was awarded to Denbar Construction Inc for $267,325.56 . Bids shall be in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Borough Engineer. Proposal blanks, Specifications and Instructions to Bidders may be obtained at the office of the Borough Clerk at the Mountainside Municipal Building, 1385 Route 22, 1st Floor, Mountainside, N. J Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000.00 and made payable to the Borough of Mountainside as a Proposal Guaranty. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et. seq. and NJAC 17:27. The Borough of Mountainside hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to any bidder whose proposal, in the Borough's judgement, best serves its interest.
