Site work and paving for a civil project in Bethel, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
**As of September 13, 2023 , This project has been awarded to Jeff Townsend, with the awarded amount of $233,743.12.** The Town of Bethel invites the submission of project bids to repair storm damage to Woodland Road. Any questions or clarifications regarding the bid should be received by the Bethel Town Manager no later than Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 2 pm. Any questions or clarifications must be received by the town of Bethel until Monday, August 21,2023 at 2 pm so that needed clarifications may be transmitted via an addendum, prior to the bid deadline. The Scope of work is marked with grade stakes, and outlined on attached spreadsheet. Ditches need to be cleaned and re-shaped to original grade in marked area. Anything over 5% grade needs to be stone lined, but those areas are noted on the attached spreadsheet. Slope failures, edge of road needs to be rip rapped approximately 25ft. needs to be keyed in with type I minus rip rap. Establish a new toe of slope. Those areas are noted on the attached spreadsheet. Repair of roadway to original grade, with a minimum 12' motor grader, an 8-10-ton vibratory roller and water truck to provide adequate moisture for proper compaction. Purchasing all material, except Granular Borrow, from RE Tuckers, McCullough Crushing, Twin State, or Pike
