CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 8/25/2023 4:00 PM Nazareth Borough, Northampton County, will receive sealed bids for the Vigilance Hose Company #1 concrete floor replacement. SCOPE OF WORK - The intent of these specifications is to describe the work necessary to reconstruct the concrete floor within the Vigilance Hose Company #1 Fire Station. A more detailed listing of the construction requirements is described in the following technical specifications. The Contractor shall supply all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to properly perform the respective items of work. Any apparatus, material and labor not specifically mentioned or shown on the drawings which may be found necessary to complete or perfect any portion of the work in a substantial manner and in compliance with the requirements implied or intended in these specifications shall be furnished by the Contractor without additional compensation. This shall include all materials, devices, and methods peculiar to the apparatus or system furnished and installed by the Contractor. Each Bid must be accompanied by bid security payable to Nazareth Borough, Northampton County, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Article 5 of the General Conditions. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to accept any Bid which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Owner. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above.
