A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** This ITQ seeks proposals for resurfacing the tennis HydroCourts at the Miami Beach Tennis Center, located at North Shore Park & Youth Center, 501 72nd St, Miami Beach, FL 33141. The ten (10) hydrocourts will be resurfaced with 200 tons of new HydroBlend material (about 20 tons per court) for the City of Miami Beach in accordance with the specifications in this document. The purpose is to renovate the tennis courts in order to keep up with the influx of visitors, especially during high-impact periods. Specifications: 4.1 Resurface ten (10) HydroCourts in one 6-court battery measuring 335'k x 118', and one 4-court battery measuring 233' x 118'. 4.2 Clean surface to remove visible surface algae and dead material; remove old lines and nails, scarify surface as needed; redistribute excess usable green rock from the low end to the high end; apply (200) tons of new HydroBlend material (± 20 tons per court) using laser guided grading equipment to help re-establish the precise court slope and a more optimal surface depth. 4.3 To United States Tennis Association specifications, install new herringbonestyle line tapes secured with 3” aluminum nails. 4.4 Repaint net posts (black) and reinstall existing tennis nets with center straps. Courts will be rolled to initial firmness. All wastes will be hauled off-site in a provided 20-yard dumpster. 4.5 Quote must include material lead time, time in days to commence work once a purchase order is received, and duration for completion of work, weather permitting. This project must commence no earlier than June 2024. Time for commencement and completion may be considered a factor in determining the successful vendor.
