Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Miami Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,695-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The City is renovating the Collins Parks Performing Arts Venue (the "Rotunda") located at 2100 Collins Ave, at the Southwest corner of 22nd Street and Collins Avenue. The iconic structure shares the surrounding site with the Bass Museum in an area considered one of the City's cultural hubs. The Rotunda will provide a space for art organizations and artists to create, display and perform. Currently, the City's cultural facilities are designed only for larger-scale performances. The renovation will provide smaller organizations with an affordable venue. Consequently, the renovation will result in additional and varied cultural events and performances, increased cultural enrichment, improved quality of life, and increased economic impact for local restaurants and hotels. The scope of work consists of renovating the existing 1,960 square foot Rotunda to include selective demolition and new interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, and ADA upgrades to the existing structure. The scope also includes the construction of an 895-square-foot addition which will provide an entrance lobby and restrooms, with new exterior glazing and doors, new roofing, new exterior accessible concrete walkways, new pedestrian LED lighting, landscaping, and irrigation improvements.
