As of January 16, 2025, this project is in the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. o Prepare Pro forma based on current financing, development budget, operating budget and other financial underwriting and forms. o Collaborate with AHA to develop detailed development and operating budgets. The selected Development Consultant will be required to expand and update the budgets throughout the development process. o Assist in procurement process for Architect, Engineer, and General Contractor bidding or construction cost estimation necessary for the financing application o Implement the development plan in a timely and cost-effective manner, including coordinating related partnerships agreeable to all parties; maintaining effective communication among the development team, other applicable partners and community stakeholders. o Prepare funding application and submit to the funders with all required application materials by the due date. o Collaborate with AHA to develop construction strategies and development implementation schedules. o Attend various meetings and conference calls with funders, attorneys, stakeholders, equity investor and owner o Assist with any approvals needed for application. o Monitor construction to ensure compliance with equal opportunity and labor standards provisions, as required o Prepare close-out documents as needed by the funder. The Ashford Housing Authority is requesting proposals for a housing development consultant to assist with project planning and preparation of application for DOH funding assistance.
