Site work and paving for a civil project in Juneau, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Contract : SFHWY00259 Federal# / IRIS Program#: TA18010 / SFHWY00259 Region: Southcoast Region This project will design and improve the Kaxdigoowu Heen Dei (Kax) Trail from River Road to the edge of BrotherhoodMeadow, where a re-route planned for construction in 2019 would end, Work will primarily consist of selected areas of subgrade repair, repave the trail, The pedestrian bridge at Montana Creek will be replaced to provide a larger span that allows for some natural stream movement and can withstand emergency and maintenance vehicle use, and the banks armored to increase the expected useful life of the bridge. The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract. The apparent successful bidder must execute the said contract and bonds within fifteen calendar days, or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Contracting Officer, after receiving notification of the acceptance of their bid A bidder requesting assistance in viewing the project site must make arrangements at least 48 hours in advance.
