The proposed work consists generally of the following: Cleaning services for City of Canby buildings 2-3 times per week (frequency dependent on facility); cleaning general offices and common areas; stocking, disinfecting, and cleaning kitchen and bathrooms; trash removal and recycling; replacement of trash liners, paper towels, tissue, seat covers, and hand soap; polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping; and other duties agreed upon by the consultant and City of Canby. The City of Canby reserves the rights to reject all proposals not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, to postpone the award for 60 days, to delete certain items from the Proposal, to reject for good cause all proposals upon the finding that it is in the public interest to do so and waive all informalities. The Proposal shall be submitted to City Hall sealed to Dustin Breese no later than 4:00 p.m. PST, September 6, 2023, addressed to the attention of Dustin Breese, Public Works. The outside of the envelope shall plainly identify the "RFP for Public Works Custodial Services" along with the name and address of the Proposer. Faxed or electronic (e-mail) responses will not be accepted. Responses received after the designated closing date and time will not be opened or reviewed.
