The City of Markhams Park Planning team is seeking a qualified consultant to prepare an Off-Leash Dog Area Policy and Implementation Plan that will serve as a decision-making guide for off-leash facility planning and construction. Building on past guidelines and existing sites, the Policy will define the planning framework and policies for establishing new off-leash dog areas throughout the City, including how to engage the community, members of Council and other stakeholders. The Successful Bidder is expected to commence work by November 2023. All deliverables shall becomplete within ten (10) months from the award of the Contract. It shall be the responsibility of the Successful Bidder to ensure that the project remains on schedule and on budget. Question Deadline: Wed Sep 13, 2023 5:00 PM (EDT) The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. City reserves the right (in its sole discretion): 1) to cancel this RFP process; 2) to accept proposals in whole or in part; 3) to award one or more contracts to a single or multiple Proponents.
