Remodeling of a pre-engineered storage facility in Sidney, Montana. Completed plans call for the remodel of a pre-engineered storage facility.
Board of County Commissioners of Richland County, Montana calls for competitive bids for a "Storage B u i l d i n g A d d i t i o n a n d Storage Building Remodel" for the Richland County Weed Department, Richland County, Montana, more particularly specified below. Successful bidder shall remodel existing post frame 5 bay storagebuilding to accommodate 4 new 10' X 12' wide overhead noninsulated metal low headroom doors, install a new 36" exterior entry door. Install a new preengineered post frame structure addition 32' x 30' attached to the north end of existing storage building, with 10'-6" sidewalls, along with required concrete footings, 2 new 10' x 12' wide overhead non-insulated metalMlow headroom doors. All new metal roof and siding shall match existing color as close as possible. Interior grading shall be completed by the contractor. Exterior site work and preparation of all gravel shall be completed by Owner. All electrical, lighting, plumbing, etc. shall be completed by the Owner. Upon severance from the premises by removal, the same shall become the personal property of successful bidder who shall be free to salvage or dispose of the same and retain any proceeds thereof. Successful bidder shall finish completely remodeling and constructing the new addition within one-hundred twenty (120) days from award of the contract. Any extension of time must be approved in writing by Richland County Weed Department Director. Full payment shall be made upon full completion of the construction to the reasonable satisfaction of Richland County Weed Department Director. Bid Documents can be requested or viewed at the Richland County Weed Department, all questions regarding project details shall be submitted to the Weed Department Director. Alternative accessible formats of this notice are available upon request. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by bid bond, bank draft, money order, certified or cashier's check in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The bid shall be presented in a sealed envelope containing a complete copy of the bid proposal, bidder's certification and specifications clearly marked: Bidders must include with their bid a completed and signed Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "SEALED BID STORAGE BUILDING ADDITION AND S T O R A G E B U I L D I N G REMODEL." No bids will be accepted by fax, telephone, email, or orally. The date set for opening of bids is: September 11th, 2023. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive irregularities and informalities to the extent allowed by law and in the interest of the taxpayers and the public. If an award is made, it shall be communicated With reasonable promptness by written letter of award and copy of the contract signed by the appropriate officials of the County. A contract, if one is let, will be awarded to the lowest and best qualified bid. In determining the awardee, the Board may consider whether the bidder: can complete the removal within the time specified: has adequate personnel and equipment to do the work safely, properly, and expeditiously; has suitable financial base to meet the obligations incidental to the work; has appropriate experience: has completed all items required in this call for bids: has inserted no qualifying phrases or modifications on any of its bid documents; and whether the bidder maintains a permanent place of business.
