Description Bids shall be submitted electronically using the NICTD Plan Room submission link, located at the top left of the Project Information page. Bids shall be submitted in PDF format, with files clearly marked "Passenger Station Monument Signage." Bids shall be submitted on forms contained in each bid package. Bids must set forth full, accurate and complete information as required by the instructions in the bid package. Failure to do so may result in rejection of a bid. Please note that the entire bid submission MUST be uploaded at the same time. Should item(s) need to be revised or additional item(s) need to be added after original submission, the entire bid must be uploaded again as a complete package to include these revised or added item(s). Any new submissions will erase and replace previous uploads. Previous uploads become inaccessible with a new bid submission and will not be considered in the review or award process. All technical questions should be directed to the attention of Gary Babcoke - Project Engineer, WLC, in care of Alex Largen at alexandra.largen@nictd.com. All questions must be submitted via email. Questions via telephone or person to person are not accepted. All questions must be submitted no later than 3:00 pm on September 11, 2023. Questions submitted after that time and date will not receive a response. Over the next 2 years, 6 new passenger stations will be constructed and 3 passenger stations will see improvements such as new platforms and additional parking capacities as a result of the West Lake Corridor and Double Track Northwest Indiana projects. Within the scope of these projects, new monument signage will be required for 8 of the passenger stations. NICTD is seeking a contractor to develop a complete design package, acquire any applicable permits, fabricate new signage, install the concrete footings and rebar required for the signage, and create as-built drawings to reflect the installed conditions of each sign.
