CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 9/14/2023 9:00 AM The scope of work for this project includes installation of concrete curb (700 ft) and sidewalk (2,000 sq ft) and related work. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay the PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum award fee of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. All Contractors and Subcontractors of any tier that perform work under this contract must comply with the Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 - Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility.
