Award is subject to final approval. The scope of work includes Concrete Curb/Walk, Paving, Rain Garden, and related work. Instructions to bidders: Sealed bids must be submitted online via the PennBid Program. All bid documents, construction plans, and specifications are available online at no cost. The successful bidder will be required to pay a fee to the PennBid Program based on the contract award value, with a minimum and maximum fee specified. Bidders are responsible for understanding these fees. Bidders must comply with Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, equal opportunity provisions, and must provide payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Compliance with Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 – Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility is required. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid.
