Site work for a water / sewer project in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of the creation of a rain garden within the median at Morris, Grant, and Garfield Ave based in Ridley Township, Delaware County, PA. All work herein specified and on project drawings shall include, but is not limited to all labor, materials, equipment, clearing activities, grading, landscaping, concrete work, traffic controls, erosion control measures, pavement and surface restoration .. The awarded contractor will have to pay a fee through PennBid as detailed in the bid documents. A bid bond for 10% of the total bid is required. Bidders must comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, insurance, equal opportunity provisions, and provide payment and performance bonds at 100% of the contract price, with a one-year maintenance bond for 10%. A Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if needed, a Subcontractor list and Subcontract Responsibility Certification, must be included with the bid. Failure to provide these may result in rejection. Instructions urge bidders to review all requirements and acknowledge the Township's right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
