The Contractor shall provide professional snow plowing and snow removal services of all driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, entrance ways, and designated pathways, for CT State Community College’s Tunxis campus at the following locations: 258 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, CT 06032 263 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, CT 06032 271 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, CT 06032., 21 Spring Lane, Farmington, CT 06032 Snow removal services are NOT required at the Bristol location. Contractor to arrive within 2 hours of first snow fall. Lots and sidewalks must be cleared by 7:00 am if snow has stopped before 5:30 am. Contractor must notify the Director of Facilities by 5:30 am if snow removal cannot be completed by 7:00 am. If snow continues to fall, Contractor must have made a recent pass (5:00 am - 7:00 am) to include all lots and walks before 7:00 am. Services to include repeat visits to accommodate the hours of the facility as well as Saturday & Sunday applications of sand and/or salting. Snow must not be piled up on the corner of lots that block the view of traffic nor pushed against existing fences. All parking spaces to be kept clear and accessible. Fire hydrants and door exits to be cleared for safe use. All loading docks and entrance ways are to be kept clear at all times. The contract period for services shall be for three (3) years commencing approximately November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2026.
