The work in this Tender is a part of the Province’s flood recovery efforts and mainly consists of drain excavation in the RMs of Headingly and St. Francis Xavier. At the direction of Manitoba the Contractor shall excavate the drain to design grades, spread excavated material on adjacent agriculture land, and seed and straw mulch the excavated drain. For tracking and payment purposes, this work will be separated into two (2) Sections. The Contractor will need to be able to work at multiple sites concurrently. Section 1: Second Creek Section 2: Third Creek The Work is fully detailed in the reference documents on the following page of this Tender. The Work Shall Be Completed on or Before the Expiration of Forty-five (45) Working Days. Daily Liquidated Damages After This Specified Time Limit Will Be Charged at the Rate of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars Per Working Day Until the Work is Completed.
