It is the Intent of These Specifications to Set Forth the Minimum Requirements for Traffic Paint for the Traffic Safety Program. The Paint is Suitable for Application on Such Traffic-bearing Surfaces as Asphalt, Tar, Portland Cement Concrete, Bituminous Cement Concrete, and Previously Painted Areas of These Surfaces. The Paint May Be Used Either Alone or to Bind Reflective Beads. The Color of the Painted Traffic Stripes and Pavement Markings Must Comply With Astm D 6628. Paint Type Color Specification Waterborne Traffic Line, Rapid Dry White, Yellow, Black State Specification Ptwb-01r2 Waterborne Traffic Line, Rapid Dry for International Symbol of Accessibility and Other Curb Markings Blue, Red, and Green Federal Type: Paint, Rapid Dry Waterborne Traffic Line Coverage: Minimum Acceptable by the City of Fontana is 0.98 Millimeters Other Specifications: Paint to Be Ordered on an as-needed Basis Average Size Order: 50 Gallons White Traffic Paint 50 Gallons Yellow Traffic Paint Anticipated Order at Least Once a Month Paint to Be in Five (5) Gallon Buckets Aashto Type I Drop on Spheres (Glass Beads). Project Duration 2 Year Contract W/ the Option to Renew for 3 One-year Increments at the City's Sole Discretion Question Deadline 09/02/2023 at 2:00 Pm Pt Online Q&A Yes
