For the single award Contract for the Foster High School Performing Arts Center Modernization Project, located at Foster High School 4242 S. 144th Street, Tukwila,WA, 98168. Bona fide bidders (General, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical) may obtain a maximum of two sets. For refund of deposit, complete set of bidding documents must be returned to ARC in satisfactory condition within ten calendar days after the date designated for receipt of Bids. Complete PDF bidding documents, addenda, and plan holders list may be downloaded free of charge from the following digital plan rooms. Estimated construction cost range is $2,000,000 - $2.500,000. Note: The Owner is procuring many of the larger pieces of A/V equipment to be installed on the Project through another contractor. The cost of such equipment is not included in this estimate. Details of any OFCI equipment are listed in the Project Documents.: A certified check, a bank cashier's check, or a bid bond executed by a Washington State licensed surety company and payable to Tukwila School District is required with each bid, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Pursuant to RCW 39.12, no worker, laborer, or mechanic employed in the performance of any part of this contract shall be paid less than the "Prevailing Rate of Wage" (in effect as of the date the bids are due) as determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Department of Labor and Industries.The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids for any reason or for no reason, to reject a Bid not accompanied by required bid. security or by other data required by the bidding documents, or to reject a Bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular. The Owner shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid or Bids received and to accept the Bid or Bids which, in its judgment, is in its own best interests. The Bid, bid security, and any other documents required to be submitted with the Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope identified with the Project name and the Bidder's name and address. A bid may not be withdrawn after the stated time and date for opening thereof or before award of Contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding 45 calendar days from the date of bid opening. Bidders may submit "Listing of Subcontractor" information up to one hour after the Bid Deadline.
