The Work under this Project consists of the removal of current EPDM roof and sections of insulation board down to the existing deck. Contractor must provide daily temporary dry-in measures for inclement weather. Installation of new fully adhered EPDM membrane roof system on mechanically fastened polyiso roof insulation by Versico or equivalent and any other work required as specified in the Contract Documents, shown on any Drawings, Photos or otherwise required to complete the work of this contract in accordance with the Contract Plan/Drawings and Specifications. All supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, and other appurtenances and/or incidentals required, and any other work required as specified in the Contract Documents, shown on the Drawings, Photos or otherwise required to complete the work of this contract in accordance with the Contract Plan/Drawings and Specifications. Work under the contract shall begin on the date set forth in the Notice to Proceed issued by the Owner. Substantial Completion is required by 60 days after Notice to Proceed. Final Completion is required by 90 days after the date for Substantial Completion. Bonding: Bid Security in the amount of Five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Performance and Payment bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract will be required by the Owner prior to execution of the contract. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for failure to meet the schedule for Substantial or Final Completion
