Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Birney, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
Contract No. 02A23 This project replaces the existing Bridge over Hanging Woman Creek located in Rosebud County on Hanging Woman Creek Road approximately 2 miles south of Birney. The work will involve the construction of a new bridge structure and the reconstruction of the roadway approaching the new structure for 0.1 miles. An on-site, single lane detour bridge will be constructed to maintain traffic while the new structure and roadwork are being constructed. Contract to be completed as outlined in the Contract Time special provision found in the proposal.
