PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The repair, replacement and installation of new fence throughout the park. NAICS CODE: 238990 SIZE STANDARD: $16.5M SCOPE OF WORK SYNOPSIS: The National Park Service requires the inventory, repair, replacement and installation of new fencing throughout the park. Grand Teton National Park (GRTE) utilizes several types of fence within Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway. The park uses post and rail of a variety of styles. These are used to prevent or deter vehicle or pedestrian movement, and to control movement of wildlife, horses and cattle. The post and rail may be augmented by barbed/non-barbed wire or electric wire. The park also uses post and rail fence with slats as screening fence in residential or administrative areas. In some locations, the fence is part of a cultural resource for the park, and so the materials, style and dimensions of the fence should be matched to the historic condition. A single-award, multi-year (up to five years), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) with firm-fixed price task orders is anticipated to be awarded resulting from the solicitation.
