WORK consists of all activities necessary to construct the Wrangell Harbors Anodes project, as shown in the contract documents. Work generally includes various amounts of mobilization, supply, and installation of anodes at Heritage Harbor, Marine Service Center Boat Haulout Facility and Marine Service Center Concrete Tee Dock. The engineers estimate for all work is approximately $1.5 million. Failure to register may adversely affect your proposal. It is the Offeror's responsibility to ensure that they have received all Addenda affecting this Solicitation. To be registered, contact the Borough Clerk at 907-874-2381 or at clerk@wrangell.com. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, or to make award as it best serves the interests of the OWNER. BID SECURITY. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the City and Borough of Wrangell in the amount of five percent of the total bid price. This serves as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. A Bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of Bidder's security is enclosed with it. SITE OF WORK. The WORK is located in Wrangell, Alaska at Heritage Harbor and the Marine Service Center. COMPLETION OF WORK. The OWNER will open the work site to the CONTRACTOR following Notice to Proceed. Substantial Completion for all WORK under the contract documents shall be April 1, 2024. Final completion for all WORK under the contract documents shall be April 30, 2024.
