The scope of work entails the plowing and/or removal of snow and/or hardpack from the Historic Boardwalk/Bay Street as needed. It is the Contractor's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Historic Boardwalk Area/a portion of Bay St. and Water St. and City snow disposal areas for this scope of the work in preparation of their proposal. o The Contractor will plow when snow levels reach three (3) inches of accumulations. o The City Manager may negotiate special conditions to the contract as may be in the best interests of the City. o The Contractor shall be responsible for the inspection of the areas prior to beginning work. o The Contractor shall be responsible for the repair, replacement or reconstruction of any damage to public or private property caused by the contractor. o The Contractor is responsible for and shall include in their quote all cost for equipment, labor, maintenance, fuel, insurance, mobilization and any other cost necessary to perform the work. o The City shall pay for this work on a lump-sum, per job basis. The City reserves the right to change/limit the scope of services Proposals must include the Contractor Proposal Form, the acknowledgement of addenda form, an Alaska Business License, and City of Seldovia Business License. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and reserves the right to waive any formalities, and to negotiate with the low bidder. Following contract award, all parties shall sign a contract and the contractor will be given notice to proceed. The contract period is through approximately April 30, 2024.
