This project is located at 1606 Upper State Road on property owned by New Britain Township and includes all labor, equipment, materials, and other facilities necessary to properly construct approximately 0.4 miles of trail and a trailhead bicycle parking area. Contractor will also fabricate/furnish and deliver select items and materials to the project site. Available date 9/15/2023 7:50 AM Question Deadline 09/29/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Anticipated Start Date: Mid November. The project shall be substantially completed on or before April 22, 2024 A Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten percent (10%) of Bidder s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond. The accepted bid will be awarded by the New Britain Township Board of Supervisors at a subsequent board meeting. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids, and exercise its judgement as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. The project includes work associated with excavation and partial construction of approximately 0.4 miles of trail. Select items of work will be completed by contractor with remaining items to be completed by Township forces. The Bid includes AddAlternates to fabricate/furnish and deliver select items and materials to the project site to be installed by Township Forces.
