Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Richmond, British Columbia. Working plans call for the construction of a 10,830-square-foot, two-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The two-storey community facility and fieldhouse building will include multi-purpose rooms, change rooms, washrooms, storage space, a concession area and administrative space. Included in the plan is a 1,000 sq ft outdoor covered viewing area. This project is intended to achieve Passive House certification. Documents can be obtained from https://richmond.bidsandtenders.ca/ TIMELINE: The Construction Manager has been secured through an RFP process. Designs are ongoing; scope of work has yet to be finalized. * Council approval of the site location and $19.85 million budget, West Richmond Pavilion was adopted as the name of the new facility.
