The City of Warrensburg (Owner) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) organizations (proposers) for the construction of the following Project, and for related preconstruction and procurement CMAR services: Project Name: Maguire Street Corridor Upgrade. The CMAR Contract will include the following services and Work: The CMAR Contract is intended to manage and execute a comprehensive set of general roadway upgrades spanning approximately 1.5 miles between Russell and Broad Street along the Maguire Street corridor. The scope of construction may generally include complete roadway pavement replacement (asphalt or concrete), intersection improvements, curb & gutter, sidewalks, utility relocations, sanitary sewer upgrades, stormwater upgrades, traffic signal upgrades, and streetlighting. The CMAR delivery method fosters collaboration and shared risk between the CMAR and the Owner, to establish an effective project delivery approach, while maintaining a focus on safety, innovation, cost control, and quality. Owner anticipates that the CMAR's Contract Price will be approximately $15-$20 million. The CMAR Contract has an expected start date of February 1st, 2023, and has an expected duration of approximately 18 months. Selection of the Construction Manager will be made using a two-step process. Step One: Owner will receive Statements of Qualification and evaluate these, along with other information, to develop a list of the most highly qualified Proposers. Step Two: The most highly qualified Proposers will receive a Request for Proposals (RFP) and will submit a detailed Proposal for the CMAR Contract for the Owner's consideration.
