bids rejected The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to install a minimum of 240-foot depth well with a 6" well casing and 10-foot screen water well at Station 12-2. Questions Due Date: May 14th 2024, 5:00 PM AKDT Project Description: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) request professional Contractor services to install a minimum of 240-foot depth well with a 6" well casing and 10-foot screen water well. The Contractor shall connect the existing electrical services line to the fire station to supply power to the water well pump. Water from this new well is primarily used to maintain the underground water storage tank in a full state at all times. The secondary purpose is to supply domestic water needs to the station. The target water flow is 15 GPM for 24 hours. An alternate additive per foot of well installation over the 240-foor level will be a bid item. It is acknowledged that the desired flow rate may not be available at the site despite a Contractor's good faith efforts to find it. Per owner all bids were rejected, and this project is cancelled.
